[Updated August 15, 2026] The scope of the DUPR rating cap has changed.<\/strong>
When this article was published on August 14, the cap applied to all Amateur categories. The cap now applies to the 19+ categories only, and there is no DUPR cap in the 35+ and 50+ age categories. The tournament guidelines and the official tournament page have also been updated.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are pleased to release the tournament guidelines for the \u201cTHE SUPER SPORTS XEBIO APP ASIA Qualifier Series SENDAI 2026,\u201d to be held in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Entries are now open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Some details have changed from the categories and tentative schedule announced on August 10. In particular, the days on which the Pro categories are played have changed. Please read the tournament guidelines carefully before entering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Main changes from the previous announcement]
\u2013 All three Pro categories now play rounds 1\u20132 and the consolation draw on Saturday, September 19, and the quarter-finals through finals on Sunday, September 20. Pro entrants should plan for both days.
\u2013 A DUPR rating cap now applies to the 19+ Amateur categories only: 4.2 or under per player in Men\u2019s Doubles 19+, 4.0 or under per player in Women\u2019s Doubles 19+, and 4.0 or under per player in Mixed Doubles 19+ for both men and women. There is no DUPR cap in the 35+ and 50+ age categories.
\u2013 Play hours on Sunday, September 20 have changed to 9:00\u201319:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Before you enter]
\u2013 You may not enter both a Pro and an Amateur category.
\u2013 Pro places are confirmed in order of the combined DUPR doubles rating of the two partners, as of the entry deadline. Entering does not guarantee a place.
\u2013 The Pro entry fee shows as JPY 0 on Tournated, but it is not free. Confirmed entrants receive a separate payment form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
